how to build personal brand on social media.

Step 1- Find your Niche

ask some questions to yourself

  1. what I know
  2. what I like
  3. what people want

answer these questions and you will find what value you can add to the other's lives.

Step 2- Choose a platform

according to your niche choose the right platform. why? Because one size doesn’t fit all.

eg. Instagram for photographers, twitch for gamers(Youtube also), Linkedin for consultants, Youtube for bloggers, bhence for designers, etc.

Step 3-Value creation

“There are currently over 50 million creators on Youtube, Instagram, Twitch, TikTok, and other social media platforms. Two million of them are full-time, and they earn six-figure salaries by creating content daily or weekly.”

so there is a lot of competition. so, building a good brand requires doing something different. ask these questions to yourself

  1. Why should people view my content when there is a lot of similar content already available?
  2. what extra value I will be adding to them than my competitors.

and so on….

According to Newton’s law, “people value those who value them”

so Now make a checklist using your answers, we will use it later to confirm that everything is going in the planned way. VERY IMPORTANT

Step 4- Make a content creation Strategy& let’s create

“Strategy and planning give you direction” and directionless people reach nowhere.

according to your value creation plan, create a content strategy that will answer questions about posting frequency, engagement, editing strategy, etc.

and Hurray! it’s time to start developing content.

Step 5- Checklist testing

it is time to check whether your content follows your checklist guidelines or not. ⚠️Warning:- be hardcore honest here!

if there is a green signal🟢, then Move ahead or go back. remember “Hard work pays off”

Step 6- Market it

“Marketing is the art of selling.” And only a few know it. Nikola Tesla died in poverty because he knew science, not art, whereas Edison did not die poor. After all, he knew this art as well.

use social all social media platforms to market and engage your audience with you. market yourself like this so that they want to spend more time on things related to you. keep them surfing in your Twitter discussions, Instagram posts, live streams, etc.

focus on engaging instead of promoting to build long term relationships with customers and creadibility.

Step-7 Measure impact&Improve

Use multiple data analytics tools to Measure the Impact you created on your audience. take some surveys, feedback, and technical tools to help you with this.

You can check engagement ratio, concentration span, traffic source, Marketing platform effectiveness, etc.

finally analyzing feedback, Surveys, and Technical tools look at what I did well and what can I improve. always build, better, Next
